At Romo's west coast is one of Europe's best beaches, it is 15 km long Lakolk beach where there is opportunity to drive your car right down to the beach. The child-friendly, fine, completely stone-free sandy beach has shallow water, sand dunes and blue flag. the unusual thing about the beach is that it is very wide- between 1.5 and 6 km-which invites beach activities of every kind. Eg. kite buggy driving, kite flying and windsurfing. On Romo found incidentally many other points of interests / activities. There are shops and bike rentals nearby.
